Yash Chopra's supposidly "swan-song" - A wasted Rahman soundtrack = 0 interest in this film.

This movie evokes absolutely zero interest. The music is beyond disappointing and the title is totally unimaginative. It is really sad that someone like Yash Chopra, who has done such diverse movies in his career, will end it all with such a cliched movie.

It seems, there was non sensible Rehman and Gulzar there. Rehman does not have his heart in his Bollywood work, Tamil, tunes to rehash is easy job for him.
Gulzar just lost him self long time now. He used to be my favorite when he did not get much work. Only left overs by Anand Bakshi and possibly Sameer. Only chicken feed was going to Javed Akhtar and Gulzar and they used to write gems, not muddy , cliche and redundant non sense;( honestly. It is a tragedy!
If you ask me what was the biggest tragedy of this century was demise of Anand Bakhshi, that relentlessly carried the big studio musical hits, after hits always a hit. People use to look forward to next, yrf, next muleta arts, Trimurti films, Dharma productions, just a few on top of my head.
But holly crap, that is all gone;( there is nothing left in the form of a good lyrics or lilting music and tunes that were evergreen.
On music front after RD, like of Anu Malik, then Rehman did try to some extent so do occasionals for bhansali films but it all evaporate d too soon.

Really disappointed in the soundtrack, not one good song that I like. I am very suprised as to how bad it is.

Usually I buy all of Rahman's soundtrack's blindedly(this is coming from someone who's even bought the music to the unreleased film "Ada"), but JTHJ is the first Rahman soundtrack that I refuse to invest even a single penny on.
