It is probably three SD transfers on one Blu-Ray disc.

Technically, if a company with official movie rights choose to release this, then websites like Amazon can sell them. I think ignorance also has a big part to play in this - Lovefilm, which is a British DVD rental company, rents out illegal 2 in 1 DVDs.

So, in the name of experimentation (and of course, in my dedication towards Zulm), I ordered this:

There are two bluray discs, one with a Shahrukh concert and Kambakkht Ishq (?) on, and the other with Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and Chaahat.

Needless to say, there are no surprises here. The only two menu options are 'Start' and 'Audio' (the films have German and Hindi audio). There are no subtitles at all, and no chapter menu. The best transfer of the lot is Kambakkht Ishq, which is to be expected with it being the newest film. Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and Chaahat appear to be DVD transfers.

The pick of the lot on this set however, is the concert. The sections of the concert that I saw were SRK's performances from the Showman of the Millenium concert, celebrating Raj Kapoor's life which took place some time ago (around 10 years if memory serves me right). This looks as though it is a transfer of a VHS recording from a satellite channel (I think Sony), made obvious by the logo of the channel being covered by a black square.

I have to admit, I'm surprised - I expected a desi company to play tricks like this before a German one did. This 'BD' is going back to Amazon - does anyone know if Amazon UK will accept a return of an item bought from Amazon DE?
