I find it hard to believe you didn't enjoy the beginning portions of this film, atleast the first half hour of the film is soo beautifully written by Shridhar Raghavan. It's like a well written thesis that directs the film to a pitch-perfect tone and lets the viewer's imagination to take over. It has some of the best scenes written for a film that I've seen in a looonng time(probably since Lagaan), especially for a mainstream Hindi film.

Already bought Moserbaer version for $ 15 (MSRP Rs 299 in India). It was Field Averaged Interlaced.

Spending another $ 30 in the hope that Fox Searchlight may be Progressive, I'm not too sure. Plus, what if Fox Searchlight is the same Indian Moserbaer disc in new packaging ??

Thanks for letting me know.
Now I'm tilting towards spending $30 for this DVD. If I find it on a store shelf, it might even be a bit cheaper.
