Is this a joke? I suppose not. The Filmfare awards have progressively gotten worse each year. They should simply rename these as the 'Chopra/Johar/Shahrukh/Bachchan' awards.

I think I've said this before here, if not, I'll say it again, the only class act that is (is not)their is Aamir Khan. The lack of his presence in these awards not only shows to me his high level of self-respect and virtue he has than most of(if not, all of)"bollywood", but also his quite boycott against a travesty of a "whore show"(as I like to call it)awards function which is suppose to honour the craft of the filmmaking process.

I've also come to the conclusion from watching these awards show recently that Shahrukh Khan is the biggest pompous egotistical ass and fits the qualities for a male prostitue.

Yes, Anurag Kashyap's story/screenwriting abilities is really a big joke ...... or not.

Vidya Balan was really good in Ishqiya also. A fine actress. No joke there

It could've been even worse, if Ranbir Kapoor or Once Upon a Time in Mumbai had won.
But how could Boman Irani in Well Done Abba not get nominated? That was a commercial
but also intelligent comedy. The new fresh energy behind Tere Bin Laden? could've got
some nomination too. Neetu Chandra for sexiest taekwondo kicking in a minor part?

Filmfare Award's like the Hollywood Oscar's. The big blockbusters get the prices and the really
great films and actors get the prices in places like Cannes and Venice.
Try not to get angry. Not angry. Ranbir Kapoor! ...... no, no, calm now, calm, tranquil

In my openion, the list is a joke too. Inattentive of the fact that Udaan got recognition(which by the way IS my favourite hindi film of last year). But I speculate the only reason Filmfare is even giving Udaan credence is because of it's official selection at last year's Cannes Fesitval. Beyond this, I don't believe the Filmfare Jury(if their is such a thing) has the wits to even look towards a film like Udaan.

Ha, ha, ha, ha. You guys are really funny. Anurag Kashyap is a joke, wow.
Seriously? Your brain is also your anuses? Poor things.

Naturally the Filmfare Award jury sucks big time. Mostly belov amoeba level and more corrupt than police officer Om Puri in a crime thriller.
2007 FF Award for best male debut went to:

Ranbir Kapoor in the terrible Saawariya
Best male debut!? That may be the worst performance in the history of film. Just think how mindblowingly corrupt the FF people must be to
award something as bad like that
2009 FF Critics Award for best performance went to the same disgustingly untalented cretin in the unfunny disaster Ajab Prem Ki...
What sort of critics is that? Not even in Hollywood - only in Bollywood
That folks is a joke, not that Anurag Kashyap gets a reward. Kashyap - one of the biggest talents in indian film at the moment
