Breaking News:

In India, since Karan Johar came in, Dharma Productions movies have been released on Sony BMG DVDs.

This is changing in November, when in India, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna will be released on Yash Raj DVDs.

Avoid Sony/BMG K3G. Its not nearly as good as the YRF one. Screenshots later.

Its time !!!! i just never understood why such horrible prints of KKHH , kal ho na ho or even yuva were floating in the indian markets under a brand name as prestegious as Sony. And now, with the release of KANK in theatres that Sony has released some more crap in the name of platinum editions of Kuch Kuch hota hai, kal ho na ho and k3g with some extras thrown in. Well I hope the news bout the KANK DVD coming out on YRF banner in India is true, but when is the DVD releasing in U.S. !!!!!!!!!  I dont know why they dont have a worldwide dvd release for their movies, cos the day the dvd hits the U.S. market shelves, 2 days later its pirated copies are available in India for 100 bucks. thats not even 2 Dollars.

they could have used the poster where it had all six of them in a row, i wish yrf dont always start using that dvd pack where you have to pull both side of the dvd holder out to just get out on disk it pissed me off when they did it to fannah and now once again

the shots look decent. sharp, but colors/brightness looks off. do these colors represent the theatrical release?

Is this progressive?

It looks really similar to the transfer of the Fanaa DVD.

Looking at the indicators:
Look at lady's fingers (in front of Abhishek) in 1st ss
AB & Zinta's hands in 2nd ss
and
AB's fingers in 3rd ss

I say, it's Field Averaged ??
