I've seen a couple of Ramayan DVD-set versions on the net. There is a 12 DVD-set, a 16 DVD-set and another 16 DVD-set of which only 8 volumes have been released.
The latter is supposed to be the original one, as the first two mentioned have burnt-in subtitles and quality is poor. Whereas the other one has a seperate subtitle option and quality is said to be "digitally enhanced" (so better??)
Also the first two have a poor design/package, unlike the original version.
There is also a Luv Kush 8 DVD-set. As far as I know there is only one version of this one. Quality is supposed to be comparible to the "original" 8 volumes of Ramayan. Subtitles are also switchable.
My question is if someone has bought/seen these "orginial" versions, and could he/she please comment on the audio and video quality. And if possible, screen shots would be really nice!
