Ali/ Urbanlegend, could you please check if your disc is/ was Gold media or Silver??

I did pick it up from WEG's officially distruibutor here and the disc is pure Silver. I also picked up WEG Lootere which is on old good time Pure GOLD.

BTW, both are field averaged with clear indication of (to me; stepping frames) 50 to 60 conversion. Despite field averaging, the pic is sharp and colorfull like Shemaroo.

Old is Gold.
New stock is Silver. I bought mine from WEG's official distributor.

Disc Rot, media, glue issues are catching up in news everywhere. It hasn't made big headlines as only occasionally English DVDs have witnessed this problem. It's (topic in news) going to explode soon. I saw one news clip in National newspaper, but that mentioned Disc Rot not as common but as once in a while problem. So much coverage when 1 in 1000 discs rot. Wait what'll happen, when disc rot becomes more common as many new Hollywood DVDs have started appearing on Silver media.

Eros is slightly cropped from the left per arsh bhai's comparison above .. but the picture is better. Jallaad Bhai from IDC told me about this DVD and how it is much better than the crap WEG DVD. I tried searching for this EROS version but cant find it anywhere :(

Stephen Bhai where did u find it? Can you mail me an original if I pay you for it? Please PM me here or on IDC :)
