I would say the IW label on plastic wrap could be place at their discretion on as many they owned the copies, as there is no law binding on it. BTW in Angoor DVD, NX has removed the IW sign, whereas IW at least did not do such.

http://store.yahoo.com/nehaflix/angoordvd.html

My affiliation with IW is just like many thousands of friendly customers. I live in Marlton, NJ at 121 John James Audobahnway and my store in Philadelphia. What irritates me is curse and abusive words on Afzal, who always tried to do better within his capacity and sometime go extra mile for only satisfaction of customers. What I have seen on him is that hardly he say NO and in my personal opinion this is not good for him for his future.

Be a Criticizer and live within the civilized parameter and here I must say an apology is required from Shuman, so we can close this matter.

Let's not destroy this thread too. Talk about the DVD itself.

LOL! What's with the picture from KKHH in the menu with SRK in the Gap shirt? Anyway, PQ looks very decent, what about sound? Clean stereo?

Hopefully the disc will last as well.

Looks soft and oversharpened. I hope something went wrong when you took the screenshots!

Image

Edge halos around the hat and where the hat meets the forehead.

Image

Halo around the head.

Image

On the left side of the hat, the brim of the hat, and at the bottom of SRK's chin.

Image

Less intense, but still present.

So, is it back to Gold Old Days?? or it's just pseudo-gold??

Anything goes whoever psckages DVD. If you relly believe or even think that packaging is done at EROS, BEI, VS, Spark or --- whatever, then you are in for a surprise. I have seen with my own eyes, genuine as well as pirate DVDs being packaged in stores/ warehouses. Discs are on a spindles of 50 or 100, Cover art and inserts are in separate bundles and DVD cases most likely locally bought in bulk. A small package of raw ingredients turns to mounds of DVDs in packages.

SKNath Bhai no need to stretch a thread by quoting me...just reply :p

Since I was at work and access to the zulm ftp from work was hard I had to temp place them on my own server for Rogers whose bandwidth ain't that high and as a result the images might not have shown for eveyone. Relax though they have now been placed on zulm so everyone should be able to see them.

This is pretty disappointing for a '90s film. What probably happened was that BEI received a poor print and tried to compensate for this with artificial sharpening and the usual suspect, DNR. This proves that a DVD can be anamorphic and progressive, but it can still look like shit. I would go so far as to say that, according to these screenshots, KHKN looks about as bad as those beautiful Prasad transfers we all cherish.
