Wish Columbia Tristar would come to the rescue again. I hate to think that the only way I will see this movie might be a Spark DVD.

Unfortunately most of the site claim that this movie flopped.

I just watched the movie last night. PQ is pretty good for a Sprak film, sounds is supposedly 5.1, but is overall not bad. As far as the movie goes, one of the best of the year. Definetly captivating and holds you to your seats. I haven't seen Hyderabad Blues and Bollywood Calling, but Nagesh Kukoonoor certainly seems in a league of his own.

I would suggest to buy this DVD once the price drops down.

Doesn't this movie have a lot of dark scenes? They will probably be barely visible on this DVD.

just watched this a couple of days ago, have to say brilliant, best movie this year by far, Naseerudin Shah was excellent, its also nice to see Juhi experimenting again after Jhankar Beats. I dont think it was inspired that much by Shawshank at all and the ending was top notch !

Couldn't say it better !!!! What a great movie.. This movie deserves a better release. There are some missing scenes :ffs:..

P.S. Sound of the DvD is 5.1.

Snake eye, etc etc!! Whoever have seen this film? How many of you use a AV reciever etc, using digital out put of dvd player to get surround sound in DD/DTS mode in ur speaker system?

It is KINDA surprising to me?

This dvd DOES NOT have
1...5.1 sound!!
2..Does not have DD sound either..it has MPEG 1 sound only, that u can listen via analogue out connection only!!

Pls. let me know?

what is happening here?

***P.S Mr. India..EROS version, has a same anomoly..with no DIGITAL SOUND? :baaa: ??? :hmm:

I wonder, How many people watch movies on their TV with audio connected to TV speakers with RCA cables..I guess..Most generally!1

How many zulmis? ???

I just double checked this DvD & Arsh you're completly right.

On my DTS-receiver MPEG 2.0 is written, the receiver surrounds the sound on every speaker. But you'll hear the same thing on every speaker. I didn't noticed this when I was watching the movie, cause there aren't any special effects sounds in 3 Deewarein. This is one of the crappiest DvD I've ever seen !!!! :ffs: :bangbang:

<edit>
P.S. I've compared this DvD with Chori Chori. CC is also released by Spark & CC looks far better than this release. The sound is 5.1 & the movie is in Widescreen. Why is the release of 3 Deewarein so different ??? Does anyone has got a website/email of Spark ??

Thanks,
</edit>

Snake eye!! do u have RCA /Analogue connection between ur dvd player and DTS reciever?

If, not? and u have only DIGITAL, COAX/TOSLINK connection..U wont hear any thing..IMHO!

ONLY way u can get sound out of this dvd is via analogue connections!

There is no point DTS/DD as Sound is not DTS or DD either!!

BTW!! Film kinda looks like SHASHAND REDEMPTION!!

This kinda film should be NOMINATED for OSCARS or BILB!!(feel good film)

Sending JEANS/KMG/K3G/DEVDAS is a DISGRACE for NAME OF OSCARS!
