The new one definitely looks better according to those shots. However, I agree with the comments on the thread that this should have been a 3-disc set of the improved transfer and HD version of the new edition along with the extras of the old. If MGM can give a flop like Windtalkers a 3-disc set, Artisan should do it for T2.

I think Warner Brothers is releasing T3.... which means no more ARTISAN encoded DVDs...... They have a bad reputation (along with anchor bay) for releasing DVDs.

Someone mentioned that T2 was to Artisan what Army of Darkness was to Anchor Bay. I have a feeling that a bunch of Extreme Edition T2 discs will be showing up in used stores.

So does "extreme" now mean "proper transfer"? ???

They screwed up one of the Pink Panther DVDs... so much so I was wondering if it was an EROS DVD :D (though it was progressive)
