Did you watch the movie? I am eagerly waiting for the official dvd as I don't know if/when the movie will come out in the theaters. It seems to be just making the festival circuits.

I missed it when it was shown at the Twin Cities film festival....it clashed with another engagement of mine which I wish I could have missed....how i rue that now.... aarrgghh !!

The other movies shown were BOLLYWOOD HOLLYWOOD and SHADOW PLAY (Adoor Gopalkrishan).

I saw Mr. & Mrs. Iyer on the original TIPS DVD last night, interms of the PQ -- the tips version is way better than this bootleg copy. Anyhow, the film itself is nice and cute. This film is mainly about the mature sexual attestation internally shared between the two protagonist characters. Beyond this, Mr. & Mrs. Iyer is nothing else, sure there are some minor racial elements of Hindu-Muslim hatred, but the director doesn't push this issue enough to the point of focus. From that point of view, this film is deceiving from what it may appear to be. (*SPOILER*)--> this film is not about terrorism.

***1/2 OUT OF 5 for Mr. & Mrs. Iyer
