I recently received BABA version of NAMAK HARAAM from India Weekly. I thought the rights of this film are with WEG and wonder if someone knows if there is any difference in the quality of this dvd between these two companies?

the one by Weg can be considered somewhat MAQ'RUH. where baba is HARAAM!

Are the shots in question not from WEG? I have the BABA version, but the shots seems better!

Just checked the A-Z section of zulm.net. The shots are there too in the NAMAK HARAM review, hence they are from the WEG DVD. They are possibily better than my BABA version!

IW sent me the BABA version and I was disappointed, but the cover was nice so I kept it. They prints are close, maybe BABA is sharper, but also dirtier. I will send the shots if you want. But you saying that the WEG version is comparable to Mehbooba makes me wanna get that instead.

'Nadiya Se Dariya' was nice too, but Rekha looked awful. Amazing film, truly a classic!
