Afsana Pyar Ka - Shemaroo DVD Release

* Pseudo - Prog like Karma, Karz and Hero
* Good PQ with re-mastered 5.1 like the above movies
* English subtitles that are not 16:9 friendly
* Overall not a bad DVD for a flop movie. Die Hard Aamir Khan fans who loved/liked this movie will not be diappointed by the quality of this DVD

I like AAMIR but never even BOUGHT DIL, because of PEI/POST stuff, neither BAZI(DEI), GOOD DVD though...Aamir and Rambo :baaa:

can you tell me the story, so i can decide to buy the film or not.

This movie was made right after DIL.. and eventually this had a similar storyline as DIL, lil wonder it flopped miserably.

The usual clichéd storyline... Boy-Meets gal in college.. Gal spurns boy.... Gal tricks boy into a boxing match and I think the guy who fought Aamir Khan in DIL also boxed with him in this film (Jeet Upendra maybe ? ).. But again as usual... love conquers everything and sab kuch happy happy ending !

This film had a couple of good songs :-

1.) Tip Tip Tip Baarish shuru ho gayi
2.) Aashiq deewana hoon, paagal parwana hoon, dil kispar aayega jaane khuda.. main awaara...
3.) Afsana Pyar ka...(the title song)

I think Music is by Bappi Lahiri and director is Shah Jahan (or Kalpataru... dunno who they are)

Mahendra Behl a man whose only aim in life is to become rich, who does not know the meaning of love, leaves his wife and son to marry a rich lady who is ailing and about to die from cancer. After her death he return to take his family back. His wife a very determined and principal minded lady refuses to go with her husband because of the attitude of her husband but lets her son go with hsi father. Mahendra behl walks out with th8e soni leaving his wife behind. This son grows up to be a handsone happy go lucky cassanova who falls in love with hios classmate. Incidently his mother has just been deputed as the principal of the same college, they are studying. How our hero Raj and Nikita meet and how the mother and son meet is what this musical – emotional love story “Afsana Pyar ka” is about.

I have the Shemaroo, same print but different Menu, it has the Blue Shemaroo logo, anyone got the Reliance?
