I watched this recently. I didn't think it was anything special. The love story with Vikram and Abitha was not particularly convincing for me. I did like the seriousness of the film as a whole and the ashram scenes. It left a weird impression on me. I can't say that I liked it but I wouldn't dissuade anyone from watching it.

Abitha's voice sounds like it was dubbed by a little girl. I hate this practice in Tamil films.
