Released by Tips, Dil Ka Rishta DVD is nothing out of ordinary from the people who brought you Dil Hai Tumhaara and Raaz DVDs.

VIDEO
OAR has been maintained (~2:35:1) although the video is non-anamorphic. Colors are slightly better than most recent dvd releases from Eros, VS etc. Lacks sharpness and contrast especially in dark scenes.

AUDIO
Decent DD 5.1 track with good surround usage.

Extras/Special Features

Promos of Dil ka Rishta

Forthcoming Attractions : Promos of Khushi, Yeh Dil, and other audio releases from Tips

Thanks for the screen shots kaindiazINC  Looks like Tips are stuck to moulded releases like this - looks typically like the LOBS DVD.

isnt there a cd that comes with the dvd? if so, what is on the cd? this movie is not that great. i saw the pirated version which had so-so ok quality but the movie wasnt all that. i guess the second half sorta ruined it. in the orig. version, is the whole song of haye dil shown? if so, after the song, is there a red car that pulls up to the driveway? reason for me asking is that in the pirated version, half of the song is cut off, freezes and the next scene shows a red car pull up to the driveway.

Judging from the screenshots, the quality is no better than the pirate that I saw at my local grocer's. Is it really *this* bad? Tips' 'Raaz' seems to be of better quality.

How is the sound quality. Today, India Weekly says that is *SOLD OUT* of 'Dil ka Rishta', just when I was planning to order it. I hope its not the same case with Nehaflix. What is the freebie they're throwing in with the DVD, by the way?

I found the answer from the movie home page. It is Isha Kopikar and not Lisa Ray. Lisa Ray is listed at the IW site.

Wot ever happened to Lisa Ray's role? On IndiaFM, they always had Lisa Ray listed on the site, then news was spreading in about Isha's supporting appearance. Is Lisa Ray in the film at all?

Rana ji!!Bashaho, bola tha! Khallas kaki hai, Lisa rai is not there( while she was supposed to be? what happened?)

Any way, for me it was a DISAPPOINTING flick from HOUSE OF AISH! and was JUST LISTLESS< PHONY< film, even with all ASH GALORE! Only thing WORTH WATCHING in film was RAKHEE GULZAR! The rest FORGET abt it!

With all my humble APOLOGIES to ASH fan! I still think, DHT was BETTER FAMILY, emotional flick than DKR!
