Ali, you called it an Erroneous Edition, not a Pirate Edition. I think you are implying that this batch of DVDs has been released erroneously.

I hope, posting these Screen Caps doesn't affect Zulm.net or it's members adversly as these screen caps prove that the DVD has been viewed. VS had warned the World not to see it without their permission.

Rana

BTW,
How do you rate the PQ??
Is it Prog??

The quality of this DVD is more a less in line with others released from Eros, Spark and Video Sound (prior to JSML) – anamorphic video @ 2.20:1 with proper 5.1 audio. I think these KHDBB DVDs are done by Media Dimension as referenced in the letters by Video Sound - MD has done many other DVDs for Video Sound (and others) in the past. Maybe this time it’s just a lovers tiff gone wrong

Are posting screen shots illegal – in any country in the world? I doubt the spineless money grabbing muppets at VS can be bothered taking action against people making/selling these DVDs never mind the people posting screen shots.

Erroneous Edition/Pirate Edition - all the same to me :p

I should have said "Erroneous Edition/Pirate Edition/Original- all the same to me" – cos they are all the same!

The so called original I got is extract same disc as the screen shots above. I clarified with Arsh earlier, only difference is the cover didn’t have the pirate warning message. End of day your getting the same quality video, audio and disc – no matter where you get he disc from – pirate or not.

I saw the film on VHS, it was quite nice, and the screen quality was good. I expected nothing from this film!

Whenever I say VHS, I mean when the DVD is recorded onto a blank tape.

Kishi, You are in big trouble now. Didn't you read the VS warning not to view the pirated DVD. You did even worst. You saw a pirated VHS copy copied from a pirate DVD. If you rented that VHS, then you have one more problem. FBI warning warns against renting as well.

It's the official DVD! I'm positive! And I didn't rent the VHS, I bought it. Wot I should return is the Kaante DVD. I can't believe I got that trash! Such a dissapointment!

The tape had the main menu of the DVD, and I even asked to see the DVD of the film, and it was the official!

Do you know exactly wot I mean by VHS????

When they put the DVD in the DVD player, and set a VCR with a blank tape, and then record the film onto tape. It's just like taping a music video!

If your'e saying that this shouldn't be, then I will stop watching Hindi films. I have no other way of watching them! I'm not wasting $15 on 1 DVD, when I can get 3 VHS's for $12 at one store and 3 VHS's for $10 at another!

Kishi, I was just refferring to the ridiculous warning that VS had issued for their internal problem. Obviously, you were not on zulm then. The threat was more than hollow.

Obviously, video-taping an official dvd is perfectly legal while video-taping a pirated dvd isn't.

In that song, Dikhri Amari, it had some lip synching problems.

But I'm positive this is the official DVD. One of the stores I go to, which is an actual East and West Indian store and has EVERYTHING you can imagine, they don't do the DVD to VHS copying themselves.

They have this guy that's from India do the tapes for him, and just labels them with these typed out labels of the film title and cast, sends 15 copies to the store, and does it all over again.
(here in South Florida it's like this: if he's not from Guyana but India, he probably does many pirates)

Most Indian grocery stores, including the one I go to, just copy the DVD onto multiple VHS tapes, and then rent the tapes. This has been going on for ages and theres no way to stop this. By the way that legal document from VS has to be the most inept attempt at regulating the Indian DVD industry. If DEI did something like that maybe we wouldnt laugh so hard, but a company whose DVDs freeze halfway shouldn't expect to be taken seriously. Video Sound, you're not a top player, so stop acting like one. The saddest part is when they 'further demand' that we return pirated DVDs of this title to their offices. WHAT A JOKE!

Second, I dont understand why they are making such a fuss about this horrible movie. Its a flop, and theres nothing nice about it. Movies about Gujrati culture are more beautifully presented in films like HDDCS, but this one serves more to make them look like raving idiots than anything else. If anything, VS should pay people to watch this crap.

Ali, I agree with you on what you said about the Erroneous/Pirated version. If someone has that much time to be bothered about idiotic stuff like this, then we should feel sorry for them. And since both the pirated version and official version of this crappy film are shitty, we should all stop caring about this and move on.
