The DVD is typical good Ayngaran quality, with prehaps one of the best 5.1 sound heard on an Indian DVD since Kanathil Mutamittal.

The film is excellent and has threee wicked action scenes that should deserve praises, particular the subway scene which will become a classic scene in the years to come...

You can watch ALAI PAAYUTHE, Madhavan's debut movie....it is the Tamil original of SAATHIYA and he's performed very well in it too....subtitling is below par but sufficient to understand the proceedings....

Sunny, just in case, this is a safe DVD to buy right? Ayngaran won't re-release in a 3-disc super edition next year, right??? :D :D

Brilliant work  - Awesome stuff Sunny. Since I first read your thread about the movie, I have anxiously been waiting the DVD release. The quality looks cool. Any ideas if Ayngaran are planning a 2-DVD special in the future?

Run released in Septemeber and is still playing to full houses in South! Other excellent Madevan films is Enavalle, which was his second release. Its on DVD from Ayngaran with Eng. Subs and good 5.1 sound. I don't recommend his other film Partale Paravasam. The AR Rahman songs are nice but the film stinks! I would also advise you to watch Minnale which is miles better then the Hindi version.

This title will not be re-released and is now avalible to buy. If intrested in getting it at a lower price then e-mail me at sunny.audit@virgin.net

I should point out that the film is being re-made into a Hindi version, but no idea who the cast or crew is. Only know that A.M. Ratnam & Boney Kapoor is producing.

Hello to everyone,
does anybody know if the disk will have the ghastly Ayngaran Logo popping oupvery 5 minutes?
I just bought Thiruda Thiruda and it is the worst and biggest Logo i have seen on DVD's so far.
Initially i thought they would use a semi transparent Text with their name but the giant white Logo is really distracting.
Which of their disks are affected?
Thanx,
Thomas
