I was surprised to find DEI's SAAHIB BIBI AUR GHULAAM DVD to have interlaced coding (30 frames per sec). I hope this is the only one DEI DVD that is interlaced, but if some-one knows of other DEI authored DVDs that are interlaced, please add here.

Rana

P.S.

Mine is a genuine DEI original.

Rana,
I have not encountered a single DEI interlaced DVD yet, out of my 70+ DEI titles. I hope they won’t be many.

As per sknath message that I received, SBG is very much progressive as per the green light indicator on his JVC progressive DVD player but does give combing with "Force Weave" on Power DVD.

I checked mine and get the same results. Now this is mystery to me. I confirmed that the DVD steps throuh 30 distinct frames per second. Then how does it register as Progressive DVD. Perhaps erroneous flags have been set.

Also, normally we see a multi-image or blurred-image, but steady-image, in interlaced DVDs freeze frame. In this one, the image is highly shaking in freeze frames.
