Here's a snippet from BrG nfo (the pirate release 'group' who have released an xvid encoding of the Shemaroo DVD);

In the cinema Phir Hera Pheri had dubbing problems in some scenes, as the words were not in sync with mouth action. BTW the snippet from Brg, does that mean that Phir Hera Pheri DVD by shemaroo is not original, and if so will there be another release on DVD.

The DVD is original. If the original prints at the cinema halls had a dubbing problem then Shemaroo has not done a bad Authoring job because they get the same cinema print use in the cinema halls, then author it to DVD. Plus the dubbing problem would have been on the audio track for which Shemaroo would have not been able to do anything about.. (I'm guessing here).

Wouldn't trust anything from BrG Group since there so involved in pirating.

Yeh I agree with ksingh, this is an original DVD and any audio sync problems mentioned seems to be from the original source- can't really blame Shemaroo for that – although if they wanted (you know like make an extra effort, but that’s too much to expect from these companies) they could have corrected the audio problems.

Plus I wouldn’t call this a properly encoded DVD either, they seems to be a distinct lack of DVD sharpness to this video, more so than recent other DVD releases. Shemaroo seems to be stuck at this level of quality for a while now which they deem to be acceptable DVD quality; they don’t appear to have the knowledge nor the facilities to improve the quality of DVD beyond what they are offering now or have been for the last few years.
