At '12A'/'12', the BBFC's Guidelines state that 'Moderate violence is allowed but should not dwell on detail. There should be no emphasis on injuries or blood, but occasional gory moments may be permitted if justified by the context'. There are several scenes in the film where characters are shot dead, but the focus is more on the brief bloody aftermath than on the actual shootings, apart from one which does show some detail, but no blood. The strongest detail occurs when a man shoots his cousin, whose clothes are seen covered in blood, and when two people die from a car bomb explosion. There is also a scene of moderate sex in which a man lies on top of a woman and there is implied nudity, but everything is shown from the waist up. This is in accordance with the Guidelines which at '12A'/'12' state that 'Sexual activity may be briefly and discreetly portrayed'. Finally, there are three uses of strong language in the film. At '12A/'12', the Guidelines state that 'The use of strong language (for example, 'f***') must be infrequent'.
