pirate one is uncut, bollywood films version and possibly Moviebox are cut.

edited scenes:
- amitabh bounces ball in hospital playground looking for Johnny, then gets strangled
- amitabh gets shock treatment and gets dragged to hospital bed paralysed.

the pirated version is a VHS rip of the original SHIVA video cassette

there's a moserbaer version, will be watching it soon and looking out to see if its cut

thanks to sageer for the shots of the moviebox version

moserbaer have just re-released the bombino dvd version, which is still cut but i think is the better version to have than moviebox or bollywood films.

THanks I just found this this afternoon too! Its a pity such a classic movie has been butchered so badly!!! Oh well will wait until someone re-re-re-releases it with an uncut version!

wikipedia lists the film run time as 138 min. (So, it's at least 138 min, may be longer)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaarana_(1981_film)

What are the various DVD runtimes and if are speedup ??

Original Negatives for this film have been damaged. So old cinema 35mm postives and "U-Matic" versions of this film has been released on DVD and for broadcast.
