If you're going to watch this film, watch it at the cinemas, AND in 3-D.........otherwise don't bother watching at all.

watched in digital 3-d at PVR Select CityWalk Saket Delhi on Christmas. why are 3-d glasses in theatres uniformly coloured while those that come with 3-d DVDs have one frame blue and the other red?

I watched it in IMAX Digital 3-D. This one was on the mini IMAX screen but I still loved the presentation. The picture quality was superb compared to RealD 3D presentations, really nice sharp and bright with the glasses. And oh yes, enjoyed the movie tooo.. :D

Awesome and mind blowing movie. Creativity and technology at its best. Many Oscars waiting for this.

The only led down part was the BGM. Horrible. I got head ache. They have to start using Ilayaraja.

I have to give credit to the theater as well. Big Cinemas Wadala Mumbai - Awesome. Theaters in Mumbai are much better than any US theaters, but this one is just too good.

I was this movie over the weekend on IMAX 3D and really enjoyed it.

The storyline was obviously very hollywood and nothing new, but I was blown away by the effects, everything looked very real, JC convinced me that his little world is real.

I guess, Depends on the 3D technology used for the content. Red-Blue filters, polarization or whatever method they used for making the content, you need to counter it when viewing.

Is it I-Max ?? Or, just a regular print in I-Max theatre (implying I-Max quality audio but regular film print) ??

Why I ask is that they advertise it as I-Max presentation but the picture doesn't cover the full screen, like in other I-Max converted regular Hollywood films. AR was aprox 1.8:1 but the picture covered just about 80% of the I-Max screen (all 4 sides). Sound sure was to I-Max standard, though.

Story/ Plot: Indian concept Avtaar, Chinese/ Mongolian culture natives, North American Indians/ Amazon Jungle inhabitants, Vaanar Sena (monkeys with tails) like characters, Emerald Forest traces, Jurassic Park creatures, Star Wars/ Terminator type special effects plus 3D. (And, Body Paint/ Full Body Stockings as clothing). I think I saw them playing basketball too ?? they are 9 ft tall.

Caught another news article about 3D for TVs, in the newspaper. According to that, various technologies exist, some of which require no 3D glasses at all. Debate or delay is in agreeing to which technology to adopt as standard.

This one in theater is so far the best and to stay.
