Shemaroo Aas Ka Panchhi:

I have had Shem Aas Ka Panchhi for a while (2005). Cover states run time as "142 min aprox". It's PAL to NTSC converted field averaged.

Recently I noticed newer packaging Shem A K Panchhi DVD that stated run time as 160 min aprox. I was wondering if it's a longer version ?? As it turns out, the actual run time of my older 2005 DVD is 158 min and not 142. So, most likely, it's the same disc just repackaged. (Had they re-encoded direct film to NTSC, it'd have been 164 min).

Nice songs though.

- Title song: Subir Sen (not too many film songs by Subir Sen ??)
- Tum Roothi Raho Main Manaata Rahoon, In Adaaon Pe Aur Pyar Aata Hai.
- Ab Chaar Dinon Ki Chhooti Hai Aur Unse Jaa Ke Milna Hai.

hope they do justice to khuda gawah (and hope it's not replicated at jet speed)

also looking forward to sachche ka bolbala -- the first 20-odd minutes are amongst the finest filming ever done in India.

wasn't rudraksh always with shemaroo?

Hopefully an Anamorphic transfer for Khuda Gawah, hopefully!

Yes, would try to get a copy of that. And suprised its a late Navketan release on DVD too.

Rudraksh earlier was with Indus and Video Sound.

This is a movie I have always wanted .. I dont buy anymore but might make an exception for this only for the scenes with Sanjay Dutt and Anupam Kher plus the songs, especially Kal Maine Ek Sapna Dekha, Meri Bahon Mein This Rekha! I use to have the original of this song which was later updated with the new heroines when the movie finally released.

Last time I remember the film was lame, I could be wrong. I think the film was delayed for a while too.

Bhai .. It was released by Eros B4U not VS ;) The was poor I agree but this time around if the transfer is good the disc itself will be bad (a ticking time bomb waiting to be rotted)

Click Here if anyone interested to see the PQ of the Sirf Tum DVD by Eros/B4U.

The film itself was PATHETIC and STUPID but the scenes with Sanju and Anupam are very good and comedic IMO. I have watched those scenes many times .. when will this DVD be released on Nehaflix, any idea?
