UPDATE!!

Standard DVD of Quantum Of Solace from Excel Home Videos
Will have English 5.1, Hindi 5.1, Telegu 2.0, Tamil 2.0

There's also a 2-Disc Collector's Edition of Quantum Of Solace from Excel Home Videos that will also have the same 4 language options on the Movie Disc.

Blu-Ray of Quantum Of Solace from Excel Home Videos is expected to release simltaneously.

Keep a tab on your local music stores, there may be some exclusive retail offers!!

Zoran Bhai .. I also heard it wasnt good but never got a chance to catch it for myself in the theater .. also, I own all the Bond flicks released on Blu Ray so far so this is a must, maybe not right away but when the price is right it will be mine. I bought Vol.1 and Vol.2 Blu Ray for $29 Canadian NEW each on Boxing Day and Casino Royal first Blu Ray for $14 Canadian second hand.

All 4 langages will be 5.1 and the movie disc DVD will be plug-and-play -- after a simple language-choosing option, the movie starts immediately! what a relief!!

The first time I saw QOS i thought it was just ok, I enjoyed it alot more the second time I saw it!
Since i have quite a few Bond blu-rays, I'll be adding to my collection by picking the QOS blu ray when it comes out next week!

From what I understand: the movie disc will have only the movie -- with a startup screen that allows you to choose the language of your choice, and then takes you straight to the movie. You'd be able to switch on/off the English subtitles from the button on the DVD remote. Since there's nothing in this disc except the movie, this seems to be an effort to declutter the average Indian fan's life (majority of whom seem to be lost when navigating thru menus).

Mch like what Disney has recognized too in terms of even American fans being "lost within menus" and subsequently, has been doing on its DVDs in terms of the "fastplay" feature.

the bonus features disc would have more than one offering and I presume this would have menus.

I personally would love to see my mom use DVDs like this without apprehensions -- just "plug" and "play". Let's see ;-)
