i have 2 DVD9 sources of DDLJ - both from YRF...one is a single disc, which is slightly smaller in size than my other DVD9 (part of a 2-Disc Collector's set). both aren't that great. the a/r is wrong...as they cut off the sides quite obviously destroying the original a/r. colours are horrible in so many sections. spots & tears in editing sections...
even in the first train scene with SRK & KAJOL...the audio synching is off...some subtitles are incorrectly translated...and some never translated at all...in English that is.
i would LOVE to do DDLJ...a beautiful remaster...
farooqhm@hotmail.com is my email address...I don't think i've heard of a YRF SD (Superdigital?) release...
i live in southern california...i would love to borrow the source somehow.
Indeed! that 2 disc cardboard packaged edition was released /authored by SD and was far away from being worthy of that film, but was nevertheless progressive transfer and would hugely benefit from your expertise, especially in problem areas as you mentioned.
I think we are talking about same source! check your disc if not progressive? I'll send you.
thanks.
But these dvd manufacturer of hindi dvds are like kutte ki dumm, will never come out straight! or like that goat who gives you milk, but with poop inclusive lol!!
