pillairaj, I had the same problem with this DVD. This problem is appearing quite rapidly with many Eros DVDs, and I suspect this is because the company is encoding the faulty sound in MPEG1. I've tried adjusting my audio settings (on both receiver and the player) and nothing works. The only option for me is to watch on the PS2, and then I get the sound. I think this is because the PS2 is connected to my TV using composite (just normal audio) cables, while the DVD player is connected to my receiver through optical cables.

Try connecting the normal composite cables directly to your TV and see if it works. All copies of Company (and also Vadh and Filhaal) will have this problem so you shouldn't worry about exchanging your copy.

:( I got mine in the mail yesterday and as i held it i heard something shaking and yes (you got it) it wasn't packaged right and it had scratches all over it. It's going right back to indiaweekly. I hate when that happenes, why can't the person who is packaging these dvds to send to customers at least shake it to see if it's ok. :ffs:
