Recently passed by the UK censor board for video release from Eros, check BBFC for more info.

A film famed for the music from Biddu and voice of Nazia Hassan – I’m sure there’s a story in there somewhere too :baaa:

Star DVD shots - anamorphic 2.10:1 AR and DD 2.0 audio - print is very worn out, washed out colours and noise reduction overdose!

Am I right in thinking that this is one of the only old movie that Eros has released in anamorphic? The only other title I can think of off the top of my head is Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak.........I haven't seen a lot of old Eros movies, but ones like Raat were non-anamorphic.

I didn't care much for the film. I did like the Nazia Hassan tune 'Boom Boom' though, that's probably one of the tune that whenever I hear I remember the 80's straight away. In the 80's you had quite a few of these tyes of films - Disco Dancer, Rock Dancer, Dance Dance. Biddu's music was well cool back then. I read he did the original mysic for 'Everybody's Kung Fu Fighting'.
