WE all are familiar with infamous Media Dimension DVDs that were on Silver Media and turned out to be time bombs.

Now, I came across 4 out of 4 Shemaroo DVDs that are on Silver Media and all have rotten or beginning to rot in the 2nd layer.

Shemaroo Masti (fully rotten)
Shemaroo Bewafa (Anil Kapoor) (fully rotten)
Shemaroo Kyun Ho Gya Na (beginning to rot)
Shemaroo Satte Pe Satta (begining to rot)

These are all less than 1 year old and already rotten.

Did anyone else too come across recent Shemaroo DVDs that are rotten or showing signs of disc rot ??

I wonder, if North American Shemaroo discs are manufactured in India or locally here in North America or all are manufactured in India ?? Is this problem limited to discs sold in North America only ??

I would email Shemaroo, and bring it to there attention. Since Shemaroo is pretty good about replying back.

I have about 6-10 Shemaroo DVDs, but haven't noticed any disc rot yet. Most of my movies are older movies with Murder, and a few others being some what recent.

Forgot to add that I got all my Shemaroo DVD from India from Music World and Planet M..
