Are you referring to different recording levels or different playback levels for audio ??

I recall from some time ago that High Frequencies need to be at higher levels in theatres and at lower levels in home screenings (High Frenquencies don't travel far before fading out). I'm not sure whether they (Hollywood/ Bollywood) adjust audio levels for home video ?? Or, we are supposed to adjust it duriung playback ?? Or Some home videos make this adjustment and some don't ??

(If film soundtrack are played in small rooms without adjustments, sound will be screechy, but may not be noticed unless high end audio)

The DVD is not PAL-to-NTSC, it's proper film-to-NTSC - so there's no need for pitch correction.

They haven't been doing pitch correction on their PAL-to-NTSC releases for a while now anyways.

someone took the original dvd from prasad/yrf and burn it, thanks to that person that they took out fannah or else i bet it wouldnt have been out until kank was about to hit the theaters
but i see one difference between the pirated-original version and the original version during the "mere haath mein" song in the screen shot where kajol is wearing a orange outfit and it looks as if its fall, there was a lot of colour bleeding on kajols outfit in the pirated-original version but by the original screen shot above of her dress it doesnt look as if there is colour bleeding

Thanks for the sound advice. I recently installed a home theatre system and it bugs me during DVDs like Veer Zaara where the dialogue sequences are lower and overpowered by the other sound channels but during song sequences, all sound channels seem to be in sync, level wise.

So if a film is authored correctly, then there is no need for correction. Does it still have the logos on also? I'm taking it that this one won't be gone anytime soon.
