Hi All

I was listening to a few songs from the Anokhi Raat soundtrack (starring Sanjeev Kumar & Zarina Wahab). The songs are fantastic and I am interested in seeing this movie. It's been released on DVD by Baba digital - and I know that their DVDs are sometime really bad quality - but a couple are acceptable (just about better than VHS anyway!)

Has anyone seen this DVD? Has anyone seen this movie? Is it worth getting? If the film is good then I guess I'll invest in the DVD even if I only watch the movie once. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Cool thanks - well I might try ordering it sometime soon. I'll let you guys know if it's a good DVD :D or if it's a typical BABA digital release :(

I have seen this move 30 yars back this is a very good movie with Sanjeev Kumar in a lead role as a daciot. It is B and W but songs are just fantastic the one which still takes be back is tohre taal miley nadhi ka jaal mein nadhi miley sagar mein sagar miley kis jaal mein koi jane na

I still haven't managed to order this DVD - but I was about to and noticed that Shemaroo have also released it now :D

I was wondering if anyone has seen it and could confirm that the Shemaroo version is the one to go for.

I own the shemaroo version. The movie is good. Very sharp from what i remember. If you like simplicity, then this movie is for you. Story of a very simple person. This is Parikshat Sahani's first movie.

Ali/Legend - can you guys remove the spoilers...

Yes. I have this and have watched this movie again very recently. It is a must have for anyone that doesn't have it.

Nothing that comes to mind. But I never saw it in the cinema or VHS so have no frame of reference.
