Just placed a massive order for the following dvds for my dad.
I need to know what kind of quality should I expect. Thanks alot in advance.

I have rated the dvds that you were getting in percentage, It simply indicates as to how much i was satisfied with the dvds and how much you can expect from it.

You will be satisfied with most of the dvds, The titles may dissapoint you are Bobby, Sholay (Eros/B4u), Kati Patang (Baba), Roti (Weg).

1. Bobby (if yashraj) - 33% satisfaction ( i haven't seen the dvd, but that is what i would expect from it)
2. Sholay (if Eros/Dei) - 90% satisfaction (if Eros/B4u) - 55% satisfaction, B4u contains the uncut version where Gabbar singh is killed not arrested at the end. ( i own both print dvd)
3. Maine Pyar Kiya (if Eros/Dei) - 90% satisfaction
4. Deewar (if Eros/Dei) - 92% satisfaction
5. Roti (if Weg) - 55% satisfaction - sound is trash.
6. Sachcha Jhuta (if Dei) - 88% satisfaction - picture quality above average.
7. Trishul (if Eros/Dei) - 90% satisfaction
8. Ram Aur Shyam (if Dei) - 94% satisfaction
9. Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (if Eros/B4u) - 70% satisfaction - One of few exceptional dvd by Eros.
10. Kati Patang (if Evp) - 88% satisfaction.

all Eros/Dei version are now available on Eros/B4u label, and they are degrading compare to Eros/Dei makes in one way or other (few exceptionals does exist, eg. Bombay, gupt.. where B4u is considered better).

how can i tell the difference between the Eros/dei Sholay and the Eros/B4U dvds. What do the covers look like :blush:

As far as the cover they both look alike. But the print that disgusts you, is B4u without a doubt, the print looks decent, is Dei.
