It was just awesome, watching :-

1.) Sidney Poitier , an actor whom I just adore for such roles in classic films like , To Sir With Love, Guess who is coming for dinner and the Virgil Tibbs series !!!

2.) Denzel Washington ( thank heavens he won..and beat Russel Crowe !)

3.) and Halle Berry !!!! (Boy ...will catch her first day Matinee later this year...Die Another Day !)

Great show again !

Thou I m not takin anythin away from Denzel... but I think the academy members would hv been a little biased towards the blacks this time, mebbe they were just been extra nice.

Cobain I too think that was the case... In my heart I wanted Russel Crowe to win, but after watching the Great Poitier receiving the award, I thought Denzel should win it !

Good for the 1st two awards however, I couldnt stand Halle Berry's play acting on stage....man she suked wot a dum bitch, you could see right through the crocodile tears. Did u see how she changed her tune at the at the end? It was like someone flicked a switch. It was pathetic. Perhaps she wanted to demostrate her acting so she could justify the award??

Just wana congratulate "Lagaans" success and hopefully there will be more to come. :
