Just checked Video Sound TJCG
Yes, VS version is Progressive and 5.1 audio, that seems real 5.1 and not fake. PQ is very good. But, it's not Anamorphic. Has Englissh Sub-titles.
Bit rate is high. 150 min uses 7 GB. (Audio @ 448 kbps)

Noticed the disc to be pure silver. Now Race against time begins, if I'll succeed in backing it up before disc stops playing, if still playable, after opening the box (after one Year) and exposing to air. :?

rana, my favorite thing about the shopping season is buying new harddrives. Fry's Electronics always has good deals Thanksgiving Day, and they always have plenty of stock. No switch and bait.

I'm expecting a 300Gig drive for $50(USD) this year. Last year I got a 200 gigger for that price after rebates. after formatting, might leave 270gb? (anyone have a 300gb drive?) thats roughly 35-38 dvd images. probably more if you strip out the so called extras. thats about $1 a piece. By the time the drive crashes, I can probably another one cheaper than that to back up with :P

Problem is, it's already too late. Rottable ones have already rotted. And, by the time I catch up with backing up all back-up worthy DVDs, it'll be another 6 months assuming I keep at it full time.

BTW, as expected, my TJCG doesn't play or back up in 2nd layer.
