very poor customer service....i e-mailed them abt a dvd thye never got back to me. Secondly, poor prices vis-a-vis IW and ICDS, so I generally would not shop there. Thirdly...I dont think I have seen any postings here abt their shiiping policies.

hey Captainamerica....we sure do have specimens here who tend to be different; you are also no exception so Be My Guest . If you find them good then enjoy their service..whereas the ignorant folks here can see that their prices are not so low as you claim

i never said that they were one the lowest price out there. although their shipping prices are good if you tend to buy dvds in bulk. indiaweekly.com is by far the best out there. check your stats and read carefully before responding! :sneaky:

Hmmm never knew IBB gives me a discount for over DVds over 300USD ... I know my facts CA...the reason being I have contacted them abt a couple of DVds and it wasnt to my liking. Another point ..folks here can see the reatings they have got... (on the main main page). Should convince ppl whether to use them or stay away from them.

Why use them, when we can get better deals at other site (Read Indiaweekly / Indiancdstore ?)

As for cust service..no one ever answers the phone....They did not evn bother to respond to my e-maila bt the availability of An Evening in Paris DVD ( which I dont want now anyways!) ... So much so for Cust Service

Compare that with other sites ( read IW & ICDS)....One has a prompt cust service..not just mere words but actions and the other even has an online cust service dept ! Thats what I call innovation !

Hope these facts are sufficient to convinve you m/f( my friend..before someone mistakes it )

If you buy from the UK it's $16.48 delivery for the dvd/ WTF! :sneaky: thye have occasionally been cheap with certain DVDs (bad grammar I know) but that $16.48 (about £11) can be more than the DVD itself!

A miss regardless of customer service, blah blah blah

I had some lousy experience with them. I ordered the lajja dvd a month ago. They charged my credit card the same day.
I checked the status next day and it said will ship in 2-5 days. After a week, I checked the status again and it said the same thing. I sent them an e-mail asking for an update. No reply. But the status changed to out of stock. I asked for a refund and a cancellation of the order. No reply. After 3 weeks, they shipped it anyway.

Dont' know much about Indian Block Buster.COM, but i wish i had a chance to try out their service. But sadly, they never responded to my emails. Emailed them twice.

Their prices are average. Better than IP. and i am sure they have good service too. Seems like captainamerica, predator had good experience with them. Can you guys tell us about yourselves, and about your experience with IBB in more details.

Shuman.... in addtion to Ranj being my relative so are the people at IBB maybe thats why they never bother to answer your email. Then why should they you have penchant to malign people. Wonder where you were buying your DVDs from before you discover IW the local pirate shop I bet. IBB do have one of the largest selections with free shipping when you buy 5 plus dvds, some of their price are outrageous but they do have some dvds as low as 8.99. In that category you may find a few selections there cheaper than IW. Emails are not a prerequiste to buy from IBB or for that matter from any site. In your case that might be different I gather that you are one of those people who will haggle for a lower price as your budget is limited. Once again, peace brother, move on. Do not linger for the path you have chosen is dangerous, who knows what evil is lurking behind every bend.

I also dont see how your post relates to the post that i posted, neither you have said anything about your ownselves nor the good experience that you had with IBB. Then again, it could very well be just me who find you an ********.

You seem to know a lot about IW and as well what type of being i am. I bet, You definitely are a knowledgable being.
