Saw the movie yesterday. This is how a film should be made.

dvdisoil, I am sure you must have seen it. If not, it is a must watch movie for you.

In a way its the story of Illayaraja only, except the end. The music is so great. If you watch each frame with care, you will realize that the music in this movie is more than all the music released in TFM.

Lot of the BGMs in this movie is used by Maestro itself for songs and other BGMs. Recent one in MX crane scene.

I avoided this movie, because ppl said its similar to Varumaiyil Niram Sikappu, but yesterday I saw it because of IR songs, and enjoyed the movie very much.

Now the question: If I want to rip the BGM from the DVD, how can I do that?

Yes, I got it for Illayaraja + Bharathiraja + Vairamuthu <-- debut . Def my fav music album ( along with Jhonny) . My fav track is "Ithu Oru Pon Malai Pozhuthu" - everytime i listen to it , i pretty much stop working to follow the lyrics , now how many songs do that these days !!!, well maybe they do in a different sense

The film itself is tailored in a neo-realist fashion which seemed to be a trend in the late 70s / early 80s ( esp. with Balachander and to a certain extent bharathiraja ) . Though its been a long time since i saw it , i seem to remember that the Pyramid DVD seemed to be 'restored' to certain extent ( def better than VCD i had ) .

Cheers for the movie and Thumps Way up for the Music
