Ah now i see though I dont know of any movie called 16th December ( maybe a hindi one ) , never imprssed me except perhaps Dum Dum Dum

Kadhala Kadhala
Album - all songs are decent

few more views to his credit. 16 dec is a good movie and good BGM. He is IR's varisu for BGM and YSR is IR's varisu for songs.

16 December was directed by Mani Shankar (Rudraksh, Tango Charlie). It only had one song IIRC. I didn't know KR did the music.

16 December has some nice melodies, but I didn't like the songs with Shaan with hinglish lyrics.

Album = fantabulous
Dum Dum Dum = fantabulous
Kadhala Kadhala = mass tunes!

From IR Yahoo group:

Today, I enquired Rev Fr Jegath Gaspar Raj about the DVDs'
availability when I met him. He told that the DVDs' would have reached
him today if Mumbai had not been affected by rain in the last few days
because the replication was supposed to be done there. Since he felt
that the delay would be more, he has ordered for replication in
Pentamedia, Chennai itself for 1000 copies amidst much difficulty.
Hence, I guess we will get the DVDs' shortly.

Latest I have got is that it is still under replication. Mumbai Monsoon is just a reason for the delay but thats not the truth. Efforts are on the way to get the DVD to us by middle of this month.

True Story:

One day, last week, I was taking my USUAL route home via surface streets. I was listening to Polla Vinayen in my car. Anyway, I was so lost in the track, I missed my turn, only to realize it nearly a mile later.  The last 10 minutes of the track is amazing!

I saw it listed on their site a few days ago but its not there today.

Pav, I never missed a turn listening to the album, but there should be a warning that it is dangerous to listen while driving :) If I reach my destination before that song finishes, I have to sit there and listen to it all the way through.

As per TIS-USA request, they removed it.

BTW during this process I have got few things clarified. TheMahal and Oriental Records are different entities owned by different ppl.

Oriental Record was rumoured to be IR's proxy. I dont know how far the rumour is true.

They recently released Thirukkural and Tamil Alphabet in musical form. I lsited to it in a friends place and definitely worth buying. I am trying to get a good price (their site price is 9.99).

Dont know if you are a member in IR yahoo groups, but we had couple of incidents. One guy almost hit another car while listening to Polla Vinayen and the other didnt stop at red signal. Now they are issuing a "warning" to IR fans, not to listen to TIS in car.

One song is basically a remake of Aasaiya Katrulla Thoothu Vittu from Johnny. But yeah, the songs are good.
