I actually prefer ramu’s hindi remake - the climax is changed and much more hard hitting

ramu also took out two or three of the songs so the film moves at a better pace - but the remaining songs are the same ir songs

and raj zutshi is awesome in his supporting role

Can some one comment on shemaroo dvd quality?

This Telugu version is Just OK! too!

This is from the shemaroo DVD ( picked it up from india , still have not watched it) and the screenshots are pretty random.

Interesting that the cast of the Hindi version is largely the same as the original. If some Hindi producer had made it instead of Poornachandra Rao they probably would have used a different cast. Was the Hindi version a hit?

Yeah this is a pretty poor transfer , Audio is not great either - there were some def "hissses " - perhaps one of these days i will actually sit down and see this film

iftekhar played the principal
beena played the sister in law
rohini hattangadi played the mother
