Audiences may pick Farah Khan's Main Hoon Na as one of Sushmita Sen's best-remembered performances. But the actress feels her best performance was in Robbie Grewal's Samay and Harry Baweja's Main Aisa Hi Hoon.
The actress will now appear in David Dhawan's new comedy, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, co-starring Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Sohail Khan.

Sushmita spoke to Chief Correspondent Syed Firdaus Ashraf about her upcoming film and much more. Excerpts:

Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya has all the ingredients to make it a complete entertainment film. I hope it clicks at the box office.

When I was a child, I had a poster of Salman and Bhagyashree from the film Maine Pyar Kiya in my room. I would tell my mother one day Prem (Salman's name in the film) would come and take me away from her like a prince takes a princess. Now, it sounds so funny because Prem has become my co-star in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya!

David Dhawan does it again with MPKK

Sukanya Verma | July 15, 2005 18:47 IST

Do you know why popcorn is legendary food? Because it's crunchy, corny, light and makes for a quick, fun, fuss-free snack. You don't have to bother about fork or spoon. You don't need to think about dips or dressings. Just toss them into your mouth -- chomp a little, smile a little.

I can't help but draw a similar parallel in David Dhawan movies. They are frothy, plain silly, comfortably illogical and unquestionably hilarious. I adore his indifference to reason. I love the way he thumbs down the existence of the brain. For him, it's as good as the appendix anyway.

In his new movie Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Dhawan mirrors his thoughts through Salman Khan's character Sameer, who shrugs, 'Kyun, why, kaiko ka koi jawab nahi hota [All questions need not have an answer]'.

So back he is, with another mad caper, which thoroughly tends to the laugh muscles.

Characteristically, a Dhawan movie involves that either the hero cooks lies or is in disguise or he cons. In Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, everyone gets to contribute -- hero lies, heroine pretends and side hero cons.

Here, our orthopaedic lover boy lies to save his bones from single wild females. He is to girls what a Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 is to guys. Dr Sameer Malhotra (Salman), however, prefers to boogie against the stunning backdrop of Maldives and Dubai in the gorgeous company of Sonia (Katrina Kaif).

Sonia is a model and practices suicide for kicks. When not being rescued by the haddiyon ka doctor (that's what he calls himself) or her over-friendly neighbour Pyaare (Sohail Khan), you might bump into her at dress designer Vikram Phadnis' store. And if it's your lucky day, she'll present you with a designer top, hanger included. Ask Naina (Sushmita Sen). She got lucky!

Who's Naina? Meet Naina aka Fantastic Four. She works as the doctor's nurse, receptionist, organiser and make-believe wife.

Sonia? Naina? Who does Sameer really fancy? Okay, you can scratch your head all you want. But frankly, that's something you cannot truly figure out till the end of the film. Basically, he suffers from the Jerry Maguire syndrome -- commitment. Every time a girl bats her eyelids, he pleads 'taken'.

Sonia, albeit, is a genuine contender. This time the doctor paints the town red, singing 'You're the one for me'. But the 'one' is hyper inquisitive. First, she wants to meet the non-existent wife. Enter Naina.

Then she wants to meet Naina's non-existent beau. Enter Vickey (Arshad Warsi). Then she wants to meet Sameer and Naina's non-existent children. Enter two oversmart kids.

Then she wants to meet the mother. Enter an upgraded and explosive version of Mother India – a deadly mix of Lalilta Pawar meets Cruella De Vil (Beena Kak makes a refreshing and rollicking debut). She is the kind of mother who inspires Danny DeVito to make a film like Throw Momma from the Train.

There are enough lies, goof-ups, slapstick, chaos, courtroom mockery, nightclub madness, rain seduction, saas-bahu soap drama and a Friends-final-episode-inspired-climax to keep the reel rolling. Right? Wrong! Dhawan doesn't stop at this. He adds a sidesplitting sub plot involving Rajpal Yadav as a handicapped army fella.

Dhawan loves to do a Tom and Jerry with his heroes. He did it successfully in Deewana Mastana and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. He does it again with the brothers -- Salman and Sohail Khan -- in MPKK. The you-bully-me-I-bully-you situation over Katrina reaches uproarious peaks in the boat and swimming pool scenes.

Comedy is all about spontaneous humour. The actors, as a team, share a comfortable can-I-pull-your-leg chemistry. This ease shows in their performances. Salman's good-humoured disposition is charming. He, along with younger bro Sohail, is obviously having fun. Proof: The behind-the-scenes warm camaraderie is for all to see in the closing credits.

So far, so serious, Sohail does have a funny bone in his bulky body after all. Known for his tough guy image, the guy cracks you up with his antics as the wicked Pyaare. Reminiscent of Mujhse Shaadi Karogi's Sunny, Pyaare has a theme number too -- Naughty, Naughty Pyaare, Jo Sabki Maare.

Sushmita Sen as Naina looks hot, talks sense and acts super. Her intelligence doesn't interfere with the absurdity of her surroundings. It only makes it more convincing.

Katrina's Disney princess-like charm adds to her adorable screen presence. Cuteness is her prime contribution to MPKK.

You can always rely on Arshad Warsi to tickle you. He is aided in doing so by Rumi Jaffrey's crazy screenplay and Sanjay Chhel's nutty repartee.

Post-Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, David Dhawan's films wear a rather swell appearance. In terms of its body and colour, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya is a sunshine romantic comedy. It has it all -- cool, summery colours, trendy hip-shaking music, rocking choreography, pretty looking actors and amusing banter.

The gods must be happy. The month of July is as promising as it gets. The last two Fridays saw Sarkar and Dus taking charge at the box office. Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya may well complete the hat-trick.

Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya

By Taran Adarsh, July 15th, 2005 - 1200 hrs IST

With MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI, David Dhawan decided to turn a new leaf. He decided to reinvent the formula that was the hallmark of his movies for almost two decades. MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI looked more colorful, it had style and attitude, the actors were made to look ultra-glamorous, the packaging was just perfect…

The essence of David Dhawan films, however, continued to remain the same: Entertainment, minus double-entendres.

Riding high on the success of MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI, DD now attempts yet another light entertainer that is targeted at the common man, with tremendous appeal not just for the youth but also for the family audiences. Like all DD films, MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA throws logic to the winds. So, when you saunter into a movieplex screening MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA, make sure you leave your thinking caps back at home.

Love triangles have always fascinated DD and MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA is no exception. This one also revolves around two women falling in love with one man, but it borrows heavily from a hit Broadway play, which director Gene Saks adapted brilliantly on the big screen and called it CACTUS FLOWER [1969; starring Walter Matthau, Goldie Hawn, Ingrid Bergman].

MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA is high on substance and more importantly, very high on entertainment. You expect to watch a breezy entertainer in those 2.15 hours, a film that doesn't test your intelligence and sure, the film lives up to the expectations.

Comedy is serious business. The moviegoer has to laugh at the right places and situations and DD has mastered the art over and over again. In a nutshell, MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA is a chill pill, a film that puts a smile on your face and yes, paisa vasool entertainment at its best!

There's no doctor like Samir [Salman Khan]. He mends broken bones, but there's no remedy for the hearts he breaks. That's because this orthopaedic surgeon just can't resist women. Neither can women stay away from this charming casanova.

But there's one exception: His work-obsessed, dutiful nurse Naina [Sushmita Sen].

She has no life except the doctor's clinic and she's always busy making sure that the doctor keeps his appointments with his many patients and his as many girlfriends.

To make sure none of his affairs become serious, Dr. Samir has one instant cure. He tells all his besotted girlfriends that he is already married. Most of them swallow this bitter dose and leave him alone.

But there's one exception: His latest love Sonia [Katrina Kaif]. She is beautiful, bright and sensitive. Samir is finally in love and tells her he wants to marry her. But she has one condition: She will marry him only after she has met his wife!

Now Samir is stuck. Because he has no wife!

To make his lie true, Samir has to tell one more lie. Then another. And yet another… Helping Samir cover the truth with his lies is the reluctant but loyal Naina. Helping Sonia discover the truth behind the lies is her besotted neighbor Pyaare [Sohail Khan].

Into this jamboree drops Samir's mom [Bina Kak], who slaps before speaking and Samir's best friend Vicky [Arshad Warsi] and his fake patient Thapa [Rajpal Yadav], who have their own lies to protect.

DD has always chosen actors who've a flair for comedy, their timing is bang-on and MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA gets it right in that department. The Salman-DD magic, starting with JUDWAA, right till MUJHSE SHAADI KAROGI, is on display in MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA as well. Sushmita, Sohail, Katrina, Arshad, Bina Kak… everyone lets their hair down and combine their energies for this joyride.

A love triangle is a much-used-and-abused genre in Bollywood, but DD and screenplay writer Rumi Jafry rise to the occasion to assure you laughter unlimited. A few sequences involving Salman, Katrina and Sohail as well as those involving Salman, Sush and Arshad are truly hilarious.

But that doesn't mean that the film is devoid of loose ends. The post-interval portions are very lengthy and the promise evident in the first half gets diluted in the next one hour. Also, the pace slackens in the post-interval portions. The editor could've used the scissors far more judiciously and trimming the film would've only helped. Even the writing in the second half could've been better!

David Dhawan keeps the interests of the masses in mind and that's pretty evident this time as well. For any light entertainer to strike a chord, it ought to be laced with gags and punches and most importantly, actors who can carry off the characters with élan. MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA has enough rib-tickling moments that can really drive you nuts and the pacing is so fast generally, it doesn't leave room for the moviegoer to blink an eyelid.

Himesh Reshammiya's music is in keeping with the mood of the film. 'Just Chill', 'Laga Prem Rog' and 'Dil Di Nazar' are peppy numbers that have been promoted extensively and also look good on screen. The choreography of 'Just Chill' and 'Laga Prem Rog' in particular is very energetic. The film bears a striking look throughout, courtesy Vikas Shivraman's cinematography. A film of this genre relies heavily on wit and humor and the repartees/witty retorts [dialogues: Sanjay Chhel] are superb.

MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA is a Salman Khan film all the way. The good looking actor has specialized at aimed-at-gallery roles and his performance plus charisma is what makes the goings-on so pleasurable. Besides, the terrific rapport that DD and Salman share translates beautifully on the big screen.

Sohail Khan is back and how! MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA showcases the youngest Khan's talent to the optimum and as the nosey Pyaare, he is truly pyaara. He tends to go over the top at places, but that's what the film demands! Sushmita Sen is so perfect, so natural and yes, eye-candy for those looking for the glamour quotient. Katrina Kaif is a complete revelation. The pretty lass, who showed improvement in SARKAR two weeks ago, finally gets the right role to showcase her talent.

Arshad Warsi is a major force to reckon with when it comes to comic roles and under DD's direction, the actor explodes big time. He is simply superb! Isha Koppikar gets no scope. Rajpal Yadav isn't in form this time. Bina Kak, as Salman's brash mother, is another actor to watch. She excels! Arbaaz Khan is there for just one scene in the penultimate reel.

On the whole, MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA is a breezy entertainer that will keep the viewers smiling, which in turn will make its distributors laugh all the way to the bank!

Rating:- * * *.

Sohail Khan is fast making his way into the list of Bollywood’s top producers. The young lad has already had a fruitful year with the success of Lucky – No time for love. While Lucky was a sweet love story, his latest flick, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, is a chaotic comedy. And speaking of a madcap comic caper, David Dhawan is the best man for the job. Having India’s most bankable actor as his elder brother, it is only obvious that Sohail would sign Salman Khan as the leading man. What’s more? Salman is accompanied by a huge and happening supporting cast comprising of Sushmita Sen, Arshad Warsi, Katrina Kaif, Beena Kak, Rajpal Yadav and Sohail himself. Though released amidst tremendous speculation, and surrounded by controversy thanks to the recently released Salman-Aishwarya tape, MPKK still comes out as the single hottest release this summer. So, does it have the same magic as last year’s David-Salman smash hit Mujhse Shaadi Kerogi? Does it have enough laughs to tickle your funny bone for its 2 and half hour duration? Read on and you’ll find out…

The film is about a flirtatious orthopedic surgeon, Samir Malhotra (Salman) who finally falls in love with Sonia (Katrina), a model, who keeps getting her way with Samir by faking suicide at the drop of a hat. All hunky dory? Not really. The problem is that Samir had already lied to Sonia that he was married and now that he has fallen for her and wants to make her his wife, Sonia wants to meet his wife that in reality, never existed. Enters Naina (Sushmita); Samir’s devoted nurse who also happens to have a soft corner for our troubled doc. Samir sheds a tear or two and Naina is emotionally blackmailed into helping him out by faking to be his wife. What starts off as a simple meeting between the two ladies, soon transforms into a crazy chain of even crazier events.

Though the story has some shades of Mujhse Shaadi Kerogi, it has enough steam to keep your laughter engine running full speed. MSK marked off a new beginning in David’s sagging career. The film was technically spectacular, musically sound and high on content showing off a new technology-savvy David. Thankfully enough, we get to see an even better David in MPKK. The director is getting better and funnier with age. In today’s times where it is so important for filmmakers to be market savvy and keep up with ever-changing audiences, David seems to have struck the right balance. He ably blends humor with glamour, glitz, grandeur and adds some commercial spice to the mix serving up a snazzy, tasty and humorous curry called MPKK. What’s even more pleasing about the funny man’s direction is that he doesn’t compromise content for presentation. While the film looks slick and glossy, it is highly engrossing and comes off as David’s finest comedy to date.

The David Dhawan brand of filmmaking has always been known for its crude jokes, double meaning one liners, over-suggestive physical gestures and a bulky, repetitive Govinda. But whenever the filmmaker has teamed up with Salman, the films have always been more classy, less vulgar and decent enough for family viewing. The trend continues with MPKK as well. There’s no Khatiyaa’s, no Pelvic Thrusts, no Suhaag Raat songs and no double meaning conversations this time around too. And unlike David’s previous attempts where the actors were supposed to be funny rather than the lines themselves, the film relies heavily on hilarious situations and witty encounters. What’s more, Sanjay Chhel’s dialogues and Rumi Jaffery’s screenplay bring the house down at various instances and frankly, are the highlights of the film. The fast pace has been evenly maintained throughout and the film moves at a brisk speed therefore, not leaving much room for boredom. The screenplay does have its share of flaws and the songs have been forced into the proceedings but the enterprise is so high on entertainment and laughs that one doesn’t mind neglecting the loopholes in the narrative. But hey, this is Vintage David Dhawan; senseless yet rip roaring. If Rumi can come up with something as funny as this with his upcoming directorial debut, God Tussi Great Ho, I am up for it for sure!

As mentioned earlier, the film carries a polished look throughout and has been expertly crafted. Each and every frame looks well-decorated and the songs have been nicely canned. Watch out for Dil Di Nazar and Yeh Ladki – both have been superbly cinematographed. Art direction goes well with the film and enhances its overall look. Background score is top notch and boosts the impact. Sohail Khan even gets his own theme music ala Akshay Kumar in MSK. In a nut shell, this doesn’t look like just another David Dhawan flick and Sohail must be congratulated for coming up with a high quality product.

Himesh Reshammiya too plays his part well. He has come up with tunes tailor-made for a David Dhawan entertainer. The songs are racy, foot-tapping and entertaining to the say the least. Their expert picturization only adds to their effectiveness. My personal favorite is Dil Di Nazar. The song not only sounds groovy but is surely the best filmed dance number to come out in a while. I’ll personally prefer it any day over a certain Kaal Dhamaal or Kajra Re.

A David Dhawan flick is never complete without a cast made up of wild characters. There’s a confused doctor, an outrageous struggler, an irritating and pushy girl friend, a sacrificing madly-in-love nurse, a playful best friend, a slap-swinging mother and what’s more, David throws in an insanely obsessed shorty in Rajpal Yadav for good measures. All the characters have been given equal importance and all the actors have done a great job.

MPKK is a Salman Khan show all the way. Samir is a role tailor made for Salman and he does it so well that it is hard to imagine anyone playing the coming off age Casanova other than Bollywood’s funniest leading man himself. His expressions are utterly hilarious and he intones his voice to his maximum advantage. Having the best comic timing alongside Paresh Rawal and Govinda, Salman Khan leads MPKK’s nutty brigade right from the front with an effortlessly natural performance.

Sushmita Sen’s role requires her to be sweet and at times, sensuous and she does that with grace. She gets more footage than Katrina and turns in a decent performance.

Katrina Kaif looks breathtakingly gorgeous and emotes extremely well. But she surely needs to improve her dubbing skills. MPKK should have been her debut instead of the forgetful Boom. Both these women have an incredibly sizzling chemistry with Salman and this fact is apparent in each and every frame they share with him.

Rajpal Yadav is hilarious as Thapa and as always, his comic setting with Salman is highly amusing. Beena Kak is supposed to play a slap-throwing controlling mother and boy, does she deliver or what! Every slap of her evokes a mighty laughter and her dialogue delivery packs a punch. Bollywood has suddenly found a new mother – Beena Kak slaps her way through the long list of Bollywood mums and comes right on top! Isha Koppikar looks attractive for the two dance numbers and does an OK job with the couple of lines she has been given.

MPKK is one of those films that have not just one but two surprise packages! Sohail Khan’s Pyaare is as enduring as Arshad Warsi’ Vicky. While Sohail does a great job at making Salman’s life a living hell, Arshad charms his way into the viewer’s heart with his entertaining portrayal of Salman’s best friend. While Arshad is no stranger to comedy, Sohail seems at remarkable ease playing a funny man. Although he does get loud at times, Sohail shows a great flare for comedy with Pyaare being his finest performance so far. Arshad on the other hand plays right to the gallery having been given the funniest lines out of all and every antic of his is downright funny. If these two don’t make it to the final 5 at the awards next year, I’ll be convinced that there’s no justice in Bollyland.

Having already had strong advance booking at the Box Office, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya is by far the most entertaining film of the year. An amazing cast, superlative performances, hilariously devised situations, and wit at its best, MPKK is hardcore entertainment of the highest order. So, leave your thinking caps at home and enjoy watching the wackiest comedy of the year. The tape controversy not withstanding, MPKK should emerge one of the biggest money spinners of the calendar year. Two Thumbs Up, Way Up

Saw the movie yesterday and in my opinion the movie is totally 'bland'. Except for two scenes in the film which I found funny the rest of the film was totally lacking in humour. Everyone overacts or should I say wayyyy overacts, the director seems to have no sense of comedy at all. David Dhawan and his cast seem to think that just making wierd faces and jumping around is funny. I guess the target must be 4 yr old kids or people of the same intellect. But then again my 4 yr old son also seemed quite bored except for a few scenes in which he did laugh out loud. The sad part is that the plot for a good comedy is there, it just has been wasted by poor dialouge, direction and acting. I can only imagine what a Hrishikesh Mukherjee would have done with a similar plot or for that matter even Basu Chatterjee.

PS: As for these glowing reviews the film has been getting, I wonder if I saw the same film that these so called critics saw.

i wounder if the person who wrote the dialouges, if it was the same person who made the dialouges for either masti or mujse shaadi karogi then i would be shocked if it isnt why didnt david dawan use that person again it was a perfect story for a comedy, i read somewhre that katerina did not do the vioce someone did it for her but if you noticed the so called "artist" who was dubbing for her wasnt that good either it sounded like she was over doing it
the only songs that i think were good was sajan tumse pyar ki ladrai mein , just chill, and to some extent laga laga re

I caught this film..my bottom line!

Go CHILL with MPKK, a complete, left brain home, paisa vasool, good time pass , Simply fun filled formula!! Go watch it!!

I agree, DD done it again!! I liked it better than MSK!

LAGA LAGA RE PREM ROG..plsss some one bring the violins!! ma ma miya!!!

I do not know :?:   What on the world, Sanjay and Izzy's comments are negative for!!

I do not like DD my self, but I think, this was better than MSK, closer to Biwi #1. Film is NO INTELLIGENCE ! But Very much must watch fun, kinda flick.

Story..I have not seen original, from where it was copied, but MSK, was scene to scene, mindless copy of Anger Management and Meet the Parents!

Plot is very interesting though!

Screen Play, by Rumi Jaffery is ADEQUATE!

DIALOGS by SANJAY CHEL are way BETTER than DD's Regular Rumi Jaffery(if you understand them  ) They are NO NON SENSE, MEANING FULL , Yet WITTY and VERY INTERESTING and Simple..not to the level of Munna Bhaii, but way above DD regular films..Now I know why izzy missed Rumi's dialogues!! man!!and DD just keeps them a bit lower than becoming OBSCENE!

MUSIC..that I dismissed being ABSURD!! is really well used, and songs are very well picturised!

Sound track has 6 songs, and film has 5, 2 Sallu miyan's usual beach affair!! but this time!! He does not get to take his shirts etc off, but Sohail, does that in a very pleasant manner! One wedding kinda song, one DJ, DI SCO song and Last but not the least THE TOUR dejour is SUSHMITA SEN ka IN THE RAIN>>PREM ROG!! is more than enough to watch film not only once but even twice!!

Farah Khan's Choreography was excellent wherever it was!
Sohail gives Sallu run for his money in Dances too!!
Sush is a SHEER DELIGHT to watch!
Katrina the CUTE needs to work on her dance steps though!

Acting and characters:

..Sallu is adequately his regular stuff, like Biwi #1, JSK, he has done this role Umpteen time!..Not Bad!

Sushmita Sen, I must say has come long ways!! Her role is mixture of Karisma and Sushmita from Biwi #1 and Believe me she really does it TO WELL!! All the way, from Sensitivity to mellow to brash if needed to sizzle!! Her emoting power is simply brilliant, I noticed that in MAHH, while I did not like that film. I think she was natural, but still effective!

Any actress could have gone over board very very easily in this kinda circumstantial role but the way Sush plays it ALL KOOL AND COMPOSED!
ONce again, her chemistry with Sallu is TOO GOOD! Sallu and Sohail, Sohail and Katrina, Arshad with every one,..show excellent screen chemistry!

Sohail Khan..Oh man!! What a Revelation..he is too good! as Pyare!!

Now Kats!! Oh la la, Just Fresh, Cute with million dollar smile!! Is just enough, she is no Priyanka but despite being a bit weaker on dialogs, dance and acting, brings a very good, fresh feel to the film.

Supporting cast...Mama from Punjab, new introduction BEENA KAK is simply amazing!! balle balle!

Arshad Warsi..is A1 in his brief role, man, that guy has impeccable comic timing! He could have done..Pyare, but Sohail Khan never let you believe that.

Isha Kopikar, has a Cameo with two songs..adequate!

Rajpal Yadav..brief but really interesting part!

One thing that I liked again, there is no GRAY or NEGATIVE role in the film..Both Girls, are Intelligent and yet Sensitive! You cant tell, who is the OTHER WOMAN here! :?:

Now Theatric presentation..Print/Colors etc were excellent, Sushmita's Saris Flow and Glow on your face!!
DD 5.1 Mix was more than adequate, it has been long since I Saw use of surrounds so effectively esp in songs..in Prem Rog song, it seems you are in the rain with Sush 8)

Bottom line!! Must Watch ONCE FOR SIMPLE AND SHEER FUN! I wont mind watching twice, but I do not know whether I will enjoy it the same the next time! :?: But one thing for sure! I'll enjoy Prem Rog with Sush THE SAME! :P

My rating..7/10.

For Indian audience standard and business pundits no doubt this should get 9/10!!
But Whatever a MUST WATCH to CHILL this SUMMER!

Yaar Sanjay, I think your 4 Year old Laboratory is a bit too young to understand and laugh on these dialogues!! My Laboratories, gave it 2 Thumbs up!

NO doubt any INTELLIGENT film maker/director from Gulzar to Hrishikesh, would have done a wonder with this interesting plot, but with DD Crap standard, imho, it is one of his better crafted film..from previews it looked too much like MSK and I was repulsed but it is no doubt a different film.

and a worth family watch, not as quote by Arshad Warsi or Pyare?

"" Family Film, that family has to watch seperately" Lol..these kinda dialogues need a bit brain to laugh imho!

i wounder if the person who wrote the dialouges, if it was the same person who made the dialouges for either masti or mujse shaadi karogi then i would be shocked if it isnt why didnt david dawan use that person again it was a perfect story for a comedy, i read somewhre that katerina did not do the vioce someone did it for her but if you noticed the so called "artist" who was dubbing for her wasnt that good either it sounded like she was over doing it
the only songs that i think were good was sajan tumse pyar ki ladrai mein , just chill, and to some extent laga laga re

Izzy Miyan, out of 5, you did like 3 songs..Not Bad!

BTW!! Did you see ISHQ CHNARIYA in the film? Did I miss it? I did see upto Bloopers too though  I would have loved to see Sush's chnariya flowing once more even in this second hand song( reminds me another dialogue, scene where Arshad Warsi, complains that he has been made to work with Second Hand Sush as she was First hand pretending to be Sallu's Wife, making her EX!..the way Arshad Warsi utters it is simply loving)
