I have got Tosh. 210E , the dvd of dil chata hai works perfectly.

One of my friend tried on a Pioneer 444 , and it was all very jerky on his dvd player.

But on Tosh. it is fine.

I just recieved the Dil Chata Hai dvd. But it seems to repeat it self on chapter 8 when they decide to go to Gao. Is this the fault of the Machine or the disk.

most likely the disc as too many problems have been detected by so many others on this forum. Some discs aren't recoginsed by DVD-Rom drives, and some aren't even recoginsed in many DVD machine players! Best bet is to exchange the disc and hope for one that works. It took me three discs before one that worked so i wish you best of luck. :sneaky: bloody media D and Spark!

Also, not to rehash old threads here, but I have found my Spark DVD freezes on the Aamir's-character-finally-gets-slapped-thank-God!-scene on two very good DVD players, but not on my Compaq PowerDVD player! Odd, that...

My DVD of DCH was played for 5-6 time, yesterday I tried playing the DVD it frezees/crushes around chapter 16 (splapping part). I checked the disk it was fine no scratches no smuches.

So that leads to the fact tht the dvd disks are crap totally crap!!!!!!!!

and i am P+++++ed off!!!!!!!!

Believe it or not I have had 8 copies of the Dil Chahta Hai DVD go bad on me. The media used is absolutely crap. BY the way the same applies to almost every single DVD released by Video Sound over the past 7-8 months.

I have just checked my DCH spark ( 2 dsic set ) on my Toshiba sd2109 - and it works just fine - no freeze, no skips good picture quality and the sound is just great. I checked chapters 2,3,5,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 which I have been informed have caused problems. Oh yes I got the DVD from Indiaweekly.

I will second Minesh, I think the DVD rocks. Even the extra one. I have run it some 20 times already and it has never once skipped or misbehaved. Spark has done justice to the movie :)

George just lucky me guess :cool:

I got the Spark version of "Dil Chahta Hai," and the menu is driving me nuts! It is almost like a parody of other DVD menus. The intro is 1 min 15 sec long. I don't want to have to fast forward through that intro whenever I want to access the menu.

But the two postcards included make up for it :tounge:

I know the minute intro before the menu can be irritating after the 1st few watches, just next and it will bring you to the menu right away. Works for me all the time on my Panasonic RV-31...hope this helps take care!

Next as in next chapter? Thanks, I'll try it and post whether or not it works.
