This marriage reception tells few more stories

1. Rajini didnt come - meaning there is no Rajini-IR patch up in the near term

2. Vairamuthu didnt come - meaning there is no Vairamuthu-IR patchup in the near term

3. Pic with KB doesnt show IR on the stage - showing that KB is still searching for new music directors (he always on the look for new people, when MSV was on peak, he was using V Kumar, when IR was on peak, he tried many ppl including maragathamani and finally settled with ARR)

4. Pic with Kamal shows that Kamal still has his not-so-cute tummy!

Did Rajini and IR have some fight?

I saw a pic once of MSV, IR, and ARR together but I can't find it.

Maybe Bharathiraja will choose IR for his next film?

This is the most disappointing news to me - wish to see more collaboration from them . In Tamil Nizhalgal is one of my fav album ( Vairamuthu's first foray into film lyrics ), I think every song is a gem. For some quirky reason I always think that the "Madai Thiranthu" song is a very autobiographical one for illayaraja.

Ages before. There were rumours that Rajini will choose IR for next movie, but this confirms that he will not. On the other hand Danush and Aishwarya attended the marriage.

"Amma" also didnt attend the marriage/reception.

Rahman opened up the gift box (probably a ring) and droped teh ring in YSR's pocket and took the empty box, probably dont want to miss it out since its a very small box. He was talking with IR for about 30 seconds and they smiled for photo and gone!

lyrcists ARE important, & I don't know why vairamuthu and IR don't get along?? I read many interviews and what not online, re: vairamuthu doesn't like ARR because ARR's music over-powers (in terms of noise level) the vocals, thus rendering vairamutu's lyrics useless.

ilayaraja looks like a dada!
