Anyone know who, if anyone, is releasing the DVD of the recent Telugu film Anand?

KAD has the rights. But it will be a while before its released since telugu DVDs are generally released after 100 days

Anand is expected in mid Feb. Meanwhile, Pothuraju (Virumandi in Tamil) is expected by end of this week. [/img]

Anand by KAD. It could be the first 2-disk DVD in Telugu! Pothuraju by the company who release Sinu Vasantha Lakshmi. Don't have much hopes on it but heard it has DTS for anyone who cares only to listen to great music it has!

It will be interesting to see how the DVDs of Virumaandi and Pothuraju compare.

BTW, why didn't Ayngaran buy the Telugu track? Did they feel it wouldn't be profitable?

forgot to ask...why is KAD releasing a 2-disc dvd? extras? are they panning the film onto 2 discs? is the tsunami fundraiser event over? they were supposedly going to release it after the fund raiser exhibitions.

btw, i'm going to go watch NVNV this weekend :D

That should be a :( . Let us know how you think NVNV is. The Tsunami fundraiser is done. I wish they screened it again in NJ but they did not

I think the second disk has 100-days celebrations, Sekhar Kummala's talk about the movie and probably about few cut scenes. I think it has a long cut scene too!

I hope they don't mess up video by having DTS track!
