Nirupa Roy is no more

Mumbai: Veteran actress Nirupa Roy passed away late last following a cardiac arrest, as revealed by the industry sources.

Known as the mother of Indian screen heroes, Roy, acted in various films in her career spanning over three decades.

Her films with super star Amitabh Bachchan, Deewar, Mard, Khoon Pasina and Amar Akbar Anthony were among the popular ones.

Yes. It's sad that her last film was (the horrible) "Lal Baadshah" (also, one of Amitabh Bachchan's worst pictures).
