British, Greek and Swiss physicists are unveiling a new, patented, DVD sized optical disc to replace the present day DVD.

:) They must have been fed up with the present day Rotting DVDs. This must be the reason for their new invention. :D

BTW, the disc capacity is only 1 tetrabyte, enough for just 472 hours of broadcast quality film.
