As urbanlegend came across Progressive Kartoos DVD, chances are that the following titles too exist with Progressive encodings:

Hopefully, Progressive DVDs existed of the following titles that I'm still looking for. Originals or their exact replicas will do.

Have seen Progressively encoded in Songs DVDs:

FARZ (Sunny Deol)

Hero # 1

Jaanam Samjha Karo

Pehla Pehla Pyar

1-2 Ka Four (songs are Prog in Songs DVD; Very first batch, most likely is Prog)

For the following titles, although I haven't seen any Progressive clips, but the same source who told of other Progressive titles including Kartoos, also mentioned these to have had Progressive batches:

Champion

Deewana Mujh Sa Nahin

Viraasat (Found it Apr 2004)

Zakhm

Thanks for correcting me Arsh. Yes, I do have Prog Khamoshi.
I'm editing out Khamoshi & Thakshak from my post above.

Thanks again Arsh.

I'm thinking of making and posting a list of all the Progressive DVD that I've got and that are interlaced now in their later batches. There are about 30 or so.

My recent acquisition Super Digital released VIRASAT has a screen for 'NOW AVAILABLE' DVDs. There are 6 or 8 titles (like Deewana Mastana, Dulhe Raja, ----etc) listed of which I already have allexcept HERO # 1. They are all progressive. I'm sure SD version of Hero # 1 is progressive too. It's just a matter of finding it.

P.S.
Old hard to find Super Digital DVDs start up screen clearly state that these are Video Sound films and permission/ conscent has been obtained from them for the DVD. These are all Single Layer DVDs with better PQ than their Dual Layer interlaced counterparts. Typically, bit rate is low (2-3 mbps) for non-action scenes and high (5-8 mbps) for Songs and action sequences.

No problem at all..
Rip both dvds..
Demux video and audio from both streams...
Remux the DVD with the progressive video and 5.1 audio !..As its a SD dvd.. its a single layer dvd..aka it can be burned on 1 disc only !

Well then not to worry...
Demux them to get back the VOB's with progressive videos and 5.1 audio. Then burn them on 2 discs

You can use this Dual Layer Writer to burn on Dual Layer DVD.

Had picked up a few $2 DVDs 2-3 months ago. KARTOOS DVD turned out to be Progressive one.

It's by "DVD Waves", It's 136 min 20 sec. Single Layer but bit rate is high ( 5.25 MBPS, higher where needed and low for text/ titles). Audio is 2 Ch though (192 kbps). Not sure what the orig sound mix was, but this 2 Ch sound looks dynamic enough, with hints of surround.

Already had Shemaroo version that's DL but bit rate is no better than DVD Waves disc. Shemaroo DVD is Field averaged and poor pq. Shemaroo version is 130 min (135 min film time). Overall it's 2 min shorter than DVD-Waves counting filmm cc that's in Shem and missing in DVD-Waves.

Film CC shows 4011 meters which is 146 min.
