Ha! We're still hoping that they'll start meeting bare minimum standards of watchability.

If you want DTS, Ayngaran and Tamilini have released quite a few Tamil DVDs with DD/DTS tracks. And the picture's not bad either.

It'd be fantastic if Columbia decides to make a LAGAAN superbit dvd with the movie spread over 2 discs with DTS sound. But I wouldn't count on it. Look at the treatment they gave to Ray's classics! :nopity:
