thanks ali, these shots look really good, just what I thought would be of DEI/BEI quality. I'll try to get this one. the EROS version is utter crap.

If you liked Kramer vs Kramer and can visulaize Aamir Khan as Dustin Hoffman and Manisha Koirala (yuck !) as Meryl Streep, then this movie is for you

I tried watching Kramer vs Kramer a few times when aired on TV. Could never finish. Changed channels.

On the other hand, Have watched Akele Hum Akele Tum a few times from EROS-DEI DVD.

BTW, Kramer vs Kramer doesn't have the melodious song "Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gya".

Its typically what one would call a chick's flick....but really a decent movie.....Aamir Khan is despicable as the insensitive husband-dad, and one can actually 'feel' Manisha's character's sense of being stifled.....and then comes the turnaround.....Aamir is totally endearing as the single-dad....but Koirala totally unbelievable.....to add to which you have such garrulous portrayals in her parents (Anjan Srivastav and Rohini Hattangadi, badly directed and over the top).....in any event it is a decent flick, watchable when you are in a mood to let your heart-strings be tugged at !!!
