Great news! At least the prints will be better than most dvds. Where did you hear about this, and when is the first showing?

They will prob take the same digibeta used for the DVD, like C4 did with Lagaan, Kandoukodian Kandoukodian etc.. last summer...

But its good to know that Indian cinema is back on terrestrial, now if other channels could show more cinema from around the world, and stop repeting Die Hard all the time!!!

Wow! 20 they chose to show this time!

This is the 1st time they decided to show so many in one season (usually it's only 10).

But are you sure it's 20 'Bollywood' films, because I think they may combine it with art-films and 'filmi-fundas', like they did in the past.

All the films they show you can be sure will be better than the DVD's (even the Lagaan they showed last year was more colourful than the DVD).

Hopefully they may also show Devdas...but better yet, Company, or if we're lucky...Kaante.

So how much would you charge for a DCH copy Faddy? My second copy just completely locked up, so I don't want to pay for a third temporary copy.

I think Amitabh Bachchan's Suhaag (1979) is due for a showing, as his other blockbusters like Sholay, Deewar, Amar Akbar Anthony, Naseeb, Shaan, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Kabhi Kabhie, and Ram Balram have already been shown in previous years.
