While on AB TUMHARE HAWALE WATAN SAATHIYO, there's talk that the budget of the film may touch Rs. 100 crores, making it the most expensive film produced in India. “Yes, I've heard that one,†Anil Sharma laughs, “But I'm still working on the script of the film and if the script demands a certain expenditure, I'll not cut corners definitely.â€
With sarcasm in his tone, Sharma points fingers at the press for spreading unsubstantiated rumours. “Earlier too, they said that my films went over-budget. And now, even before the film has started rolling, we're talking of the film's budget crossing Rs. 100 crores.â€
Getting serious, he says, “Yes, the film will be made on a lavish scale, but the kind of money that will be spent hasn't even been decided as of now. Like I said, if the script demands a certain amount that needs to be spent, we'll do so. No questions on that.†Point noted
