Remember the 2001 movie Kandahar, which won acclaims at Cannes and later, because of 9-11 and Afghanistan, became a big hit,

is on TV tonite at 8 PM.

Its (premiering on TV) on CBOT (CBC) locally in Ottawa area and perhaps Canadawide on CBC.

It will be followed by a one hour documentary, Return To Kandahar, on Thursday at 9 PM. Its a new documentary and the movie tonite is only a warm-up for the documentary.

I was only able to catch parts of this movie tonight, but from what I saw, it looked good.
