DVDCOLLECTOR, are you a hound dog? whats this obsession in trying to get this man to confess anything? I don't think so, he is a lot smarter than what you people are giving him credit for.

What? I'm a concerned customer and what's wrong with me seeking for answers to my concerns on the products to which I purchase? "Buyer - beware"

Nothing if done politely. Asking the same questions over a period of 5 months is nothing less than stupidity, and yes I agree with you 100 percent your are a fool :p

What's your beef with me? Do you work for Eros Entertainment that you keep rebelling against me? Atleast I've taken some sort of action towards creating a change whereas you have nothing better to do but insult me? I might have created jack results, but your even more idiotic for oppressing me for even trying.

That's his phone number? I say we all spam it by calling it several times a day until he notices and starts to fix things.

Lets take this slowly bacha. I do not have a beef with you.
It should have been obvious that after a few unanswered emails and no satisfactory answers to your questions that this guy is jerking you around. Its a fact that these people either make or promote piracy and a confession is impossible.
It should have become very clear to you that the only way to get even is buy from pakwebstore.com the only cure for all dvd ailments. Now whats with this cliche " do you work for..."
seems to be a famous line here on Zulm. Oppression? now why would you think that? :D

Nope! And I probably won't, since I live in Canada and I'm not about to make a long-distance phone call to some guy who will never get me what I really want. That's why I had asked earlier if anyone knew if EROS has a head office based in Canada?

I stand corrected. Everytime you reply to me shows how narcissistic you truly are. I've admitted to not being a smart-ass, while you keep uplifting your witty pride.

I am surprised mHafner..doesnt use his clout with widescreen review to Expose these Wankers @ EROS ... ! Hafner... you listening ? :D

WSR does not review Indian DVDs. I managed to smuggle in
one (Fiza) but that was an exception. As an US magazine
they review mainstream stuff that interests US citizens
with traditional English backgrounds, plus some art house
from all over the world. Bollywood is neither.
Also it would not help much anyway since neither is the
average Indian reding WSR nor is Eros or any other Indian
label.
If someone makes this a story it must be "Times of India"
or any other publication most Indians read.
Eros etc. listen to sales numbers and sales numbers only.
They don't care about quality, they care about sales and
surviving. Quality is incidental, if there is some at times.
I have never experienced that any DVD label did acknowledge
a basic quality problem that needs to be fixed. A glitch,
maybe, but generally misguided mastering practices, no!
And that includes Hollywood labels too (less of an issue
since average quality is better).
I informed Eros in detail about the chrominance pulldown
bug. No reply whatsoever so far.

Unfortunately people buy the overpriced Eros and YRF discs. They just want the movie and do not care about the quality. The nth generation VHS tapes, often with ads, that we used to rent make the current DVDs look great. Every time I see someone looking at the new releases section filled with Eros, YRF, and VS discs, I just want to put in their hands some $10 DEI titles and push them to the cash register, or maybe hit them on the head with a newspaper if they touch that copy of Devdas :) :bangbang:

I think the EROS DVD's are horrible.

I rented the Mast DVD, and in the 'RUNNING SUCCESSFULLY IN THEATERS' extra, "Ruki Ruki Thi Zindagi" was played, and you notice the great colours, and how everything was perfect. When you go through the song menu and watch the film, it's darker and the colours are boring.

The Dum DVD, had the same problems. Too dark.

As well as Pukar, Lajja, Company, AMALL, KMDSP, Raja Hindustani, etc. all have bad quality DVD's.

I wouldn't mind saying something to this guy. The quality of EROS is bad. They spend too much time getting dozens of films rights, rather than concentrating on the quality. DEI and Video Sound have better quality.

Can I please have his e-mail?
